Privacy policy

1. Overview

This site is a pure browser app. It has no user accounts, sets no cookies, uses no tracking, no analytics services and no advertising, and loads no fonts or scripts from third-party servers.

2. Controller

The controller is the person named in the legal notice above.

3. Data in your browser (troupes, game state)

Your troupes and any game in progress are stored only in your browser's local storage on your own device. They are not sent to me or to any other server. You can delete them at any time by removing the troupes in the app or by clearing your browser's site data. Exporting a troupe copies a text to your clipboard; what you do with it is up to you.

4. Hosting via GitHub Pages

This site is delivered via GitHub Pages (GitHub Inc., 88 Colin P. Kelly Jr. Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When you visit, the host processes technically necessary connection data, in particular your IP address, date and time, and the requested file, in order to deliver the site and prevent abuse. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure and stable operation of the site). As the provider is based in the USA, this may involve a transfer of data to a third country. For details, see GitHub's privacy statement. I do not see or evaluate this data myself.

5. Offline storage (service worker)

So that the app also starts without a connection, your browser stores the site's files locally (service worker and cache). No personal data is collected in the process.

6. Contact

If you email me, I process your details only to answer your request (Art. 6 (1)(b) or (f) GDPR) and delete them once they are no longer needed.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. If you have questions, write to me at the email address above.
